Q. Is the exfoliating action harsh on the skin?
A. Absolutely not. Unlike conventional exfoliating formulas which contain coarse sandy grains to render harsh abrasive action, all of Dr. Pierre's Exfoliating Gels contain NO grains at all. When in contact with the skin, the Gel works by gently softening and dissolving surface dead cells and debris, and form them into tiny lumps within a minute for easy removal.

A. Dr. Pierre is the pioneer and original creator of these Exfoliating Gels in early 1990.
Q. Can Dr. Pierre Exfoliating Gel remove make-up?
A. It is not intended to be used directly as a makeup remover. Nevertheless, if your own makeup remover and/or cleanser were not doing their cleansing job well, you will see it before your very eyes tiny lumps of makeup color powder surfacing as you gently massage with Dr. Pierre's Exfoliating Gel.
Q. Should face be wet before using the Exfoliating Gel?
A. No. All of Dr Pierre's Exfoliating Gels have to be used on dry skin and with dry hands. Some other brands of Exfoliating Gels that require wetting are actually soaps in disguise.
Q. How long do I need to massage on my face with the Exfoliating Gel?
A. Only 1minute.
Q. Why am I not seeing any tiny lumps surfacing on my face?
A. This may happen if your face or hands are wet, causing the Gel to become diluted and ineffective; or you have applied too much, thus it will take a much longer time for the dead cells and debris to form into lumps; or you have applied too little, and the Gel has dried up too fast before it can get to dissolve the dead cells and debris.
Q. Can I rinse immediately with water after using the Gel?
A. NO. You MUST first wipe away with a dry tissue, before rinsing. If in doubt, follow the Usage Directions.
