Q. Why do Dr. Pierre Anti-UV Day Creams have only SPF 8 value? Isn't it the higher the SPF the better? A. SPF 8 already suffices. You don't need more. They are the safest Anti-UV Day Creams available so far. The truth is : the higher the SPF value, the higher the risk of contracting skin cancer by the user. Q. Who pioneered the trend of incorporating Anti_UV properties in Day Creams? A. Dr. Pierre is the pioneer in manufacturing Day Creams with Anti-UV actions in the early '80s. Not only that, he is the whistle blower to caution the authorities on the high risk of high SPF products when many manufacturers simply jumped onto the band-wagon and tried outdoing each other by producing higher and higher SPF products, and misleading the consumer public into believing that the higher the SPF the better for them.
Q. Can face be wet when using the Active Day Creams? A. No, if it's wet with water and competitors' toner. If applying it while Dr. Pierre's toner is still not yet dry, that's fine, because we know our own products well.
Q. Can I mix different Dr. Pierre Creams on different areas of my face? A. Yes. For example, you can apply Dr. Pierre 90-O or 90L on acne spots, 98 or 98W on pigmented areas and one of Dr. Pierre's Anti-UV Day Creams of choice on the rest of the face.
Q. Do Dr. Pierre Anti-UV Day Creams contain Fragrance and Alcohol? A. Absolutely NOT! Some Fragrances will cause UV radiation reaction on the skin, leading to delayed pigmentation. Alcohol causes skin dehydration. Thus, Dr. Pierre NEVER use it too.
Q. Why then are other manufacturers still incorporating Fragrance and Alcohol in their Day Creams? A. In conventional/standard formulas provided freely by raw materials suppliers, they use fragrance both to mask over some strong smelly odor of certain ingredients, as well as to attract comsumers to their Creams by way of nice-to-smell fragrance. Alcohol is used in these standard cream formulas as a cheap solvent and partly as preservatives, but in the expense of your skin. Knowing how much negative impact these can bring upon your skin, Dr. Pierre abstained from them completely in his Acive Anti-UV Day Cream formulations.
Q. Why does Dr. Pierre have so many different Active Anti-UV Day Creams? A. Every skin is unique. Moreover, the climatic conditions at different times of the year PLUS each individual's constitutional changes over time changes your complexion. These 5 Active Anti-UV Day Creams are specifically formulated to cater to your different needs at different times to render the Fastest & Most Positive Results.
