Answer Hi Alejandra, Clogged-pores is a common skin flaw. The debris that clogged the pores comprises the skin's surface dead cells, environmental dirt, bacteria, salt from dried-up sweat, staled sebum secretion, waxes dried-up from face creams, and colored pigments (i.e. iron oxides) from dried-up makeup. These are being deposited on the skin's surface daily. As such, if they are not properly removed, the accumulations will seriously clog-up the pores. Glycolic Peeling will not help in your clog-pores. Infact it will make it worse for your current situation. Glycolic Peeling will shed your skin even more, thus producing more shedded dead cells to clog your pores. From what you describe, the products you are currently using aren't effective. Firstly, you must use a cleanser that really cleans by effectively softening/ dissolving the accumulated debris now clogging your pores, as well as removing your daily debris deposits. Next, your skin's excessive secretion must be calmed/sedated by applying products that contain soothing/calming active ingredients. Trying to rid off oily secretions by excessive washing with soap or any foam/soap base cleansers will only make it worse. When you wash excessively with soap, your skin will dehydrate after each wash. During the dehydration period, the skin will physiologically react by trying to compensate the temporary loss of oil/moisture by stimulating the oil glands to produce more oil. This stimulation only causes more oil (which could not flow out due to your clogged condition) to build up beneath your pores and, thus, worsen the situation. You will find your skin getting coarser. Makeup are colored products, which contain coloring substances, colored pigment oxides (iron oxides), zinc oxides, titanium oxides, talc, etc.. As such, the manufacturer should never claim that they are non-comedogenic. To claim that a product is non-comedogenic is to say that the product contains ingredients that will not contribute to the building up of comedones. Comedones is a medical term for blackheads. The debris that clogged the pores are blackheads/comedones!!! And all the pigments, oxides and talc are powdery grains which do contribute to pore-clogs. Unless you have a good and effective cleanser and a good skincare routine, I'd advise that you stop using makeup for one to two weeks. If you are willing to accept my advice, I would prefer that you stop all others and use the samples I will send you. It will comprise 4 to 5 items. I am confident you will see quick positive results, like many others have testified to us. Please let me know if you want me to send the set of samples. Regards: Pierre
Question AFTER UNBLOCKING PORES - THEY TEND TO RE-BLOCK IN THE SAME PLACES - NO MATTER HOW THROUGHLY I CLEANSE. WHY? hOW CAN I GET RID OF IMBEDDED BLACK HEADS ON NOSE AREA AND TIGHTEN PORES ON T ZONE? (submitted by alias: kaur)
Answer There is no way in permanently unblocking pores. Pore-clogging is a natural on-going process so long a person is living. The debris that clogs the pores comprises shedded dead cells from skin surface, environmental dirt and bacteria, staled sebaceous secretions from the pores, salt, waste and bacteria from sweat excretion, wax and pigment deposits from skincare (cosmetics) creams and makeup, etc. However, these clogs can be reduced and slowed down if you use the following: 1. Skincare creams (or makeup products) that are non-comedogenic - meaning they contain very little concentration of high-viscosity oil contents(wax-like). High viscosity oil hardens into wax at ambient temperature, thus clogging the pores easily. You can do this simple test to determine if the product(s) you are currently using contain high or low viscosity oil. Decant, say one to two grams of your cream and place it on a piece of normal writing paper (do not spread it, but leave it in a lump like a moldhill). Then put aside for about two days and observe what happens to the cream. If most of it has been absorbed by the paper (you can see the wide oil patch on the paper around the original position of the cream) then the cream is considered non-comedogenic, and you can safely say that this cream is not the main cause for the pore-cloggings. However, if the cream has only shrunk a lttle, and a large portion of it is still there but hardened into a wax-like substance, then such cream is one of the major cause for your pore-clogs. 2. Cleansing products (including cream/milk cleansers and facial scrubs) that really cleanse effectively by removing staled dirt and blackhead debris accumulated daily on your skin and pores. You are the best judge to see if your skin is getting smoother or coarser after using the products for a while. If it gets smoother and pores are cleared, then they are effective cleansers. If your pores got coarser and more clogged instead, then they aren't effective. They may even contain ingredients that help clog the pores more. Pores should be tightened only after your pores are cleared of the clogs, otherwise tightening them will only make it more difficult to remove the debris. Pores can be tightened by effective astringent products creams or toners containing adequate concentrations of active astringent ingredients). Question I have blackheads around my cheekbones and its driving me crazy, this just started several months ago and i don't have any idea what has caused this sudden change, growing up I never had any trouble with blackheads or acne, which was rare. Why all of a sudden now? Is it my age or what kind of make-up that I use? (submitted by alias: )
Answer Hi, blackheads are debris from environmental dirt, stale dead cells, salt, waste and bacteria from sweat, hardened wax component from comedogenic creams(that is cream made from standard formulation which contains high wax component), Colored Iron Oxide pigments from makeup colors/creams. Blackheads can form due to any of the following reasons: 1. Your skin becoming oily suddenly, thus trapping more dirt. 2. You started using new cream(s) or makeup item(s) that contain high wax content and Iron Oxides. 3. You have been using a soap-base cleanser which hardened the deposits on your skin and within the pores. Soap contains salt and salt hardens any oily deposits found on your skin, but emulsify away fresh liquid oil on your skin, thus causing it to dehydrate, and becoming coarse. 4. You have been using a cream/milk cleanser that are not effective in dissolving and removing daily soiled deposits of waste and dirt. Instead, this cleanser may even contain high wax content, which deposits the wax in the pores rather than removing waste deposits from them. Well, I urge you to get hold of a set of our samples to resolve your problem. Regards: Pierre
Question yes i am 37 years old male i have bad blackheads around my eyes and forhead area do be for you say just bey you products i will tell you that i have had this problume for a bout 20+ years and i have seen many docters a bout it and used rener+ many other drugs and this does not help i even let doctors pop them and thay come back days latter skin doctors do not now how to get them gone for good so now i live with it !!! so what i am doing is asking companys like yours for help PLEASE THIS IS NOT A NORMAL CASE SO TO NOT TELL ME TO BUY YOUR PRODUCTS IT YOUR NOT SHUR THAT THAY WILL SOLVE THERE PROBLUME THANKS E KELLAHER (submitted by alias: Kellaher)
Answer Hi Kellaher, blackheads are deposits from dirt, waxes from most creams, your own dead cells, and hardened staled oil from your own secretions. So, they will never stop as long as a person lives. They will keep coming back. The solution is not to stop them from coming back completely. This is impossible. The solution is to reduce them drastically till they are almost invisible and not prominent. How do you achieve this? Well, first and foremost stop using soap to wash your face. Soap contains salt and will cause the oil deposits in your pores to harden. Soap will also dehydrate your skin and causes skin to rupture, thus allowing easy bacterial invasion, and skin also looks mouldy and coarse. Next, use only effective cleansers that do not contain high wax content. Most cleansers in the market contain high wax content. These waxes will deposit into your pores and clog them, only making your blackhead condition worse, instead of removing them. Cleansers that do not contain high wax contents are known as non-comedogenic cleansers. Our cleansers are all non-comedogenic. However, although there are non-comedogenic creams in the market, most do not seem to be able to truly and effectively remove unwanted dirt, dead cells and staled deposits. Our cleansers can perform these actions effectively, without robbing your skin of the necessary fresh oily secretions that are needed to hold your freshly shed dead cells to form that essential protection layer of acid mantle that gives your skin that silky, baby-soft complexion. Next, avoid day or night creams or any other creams that contain also high wax content. All our other products for daily or nightly application are also non-comedogenic. However, for long accumulated stubborn blackheads, you will need some weeks to remove them. With our products, even with the first application, you can see and feel the difference, although it will take weeks to clear such stubborn blackheads. OK. Don't worry. We are not asking you to buy our products right now. Well, we do offer Trial kits. Infact, we encourage potential customers to try our samples first, despite the fact that we have over 95% satisfied customers (incase someone happens to be among that remaining <5%). The Trial Kits comprises 7 items to be used for your daily and nightly routine. This is to provide you an opportunity to use exclusively only our line of products, without mixing with other competitive products, in order to achieve fast positive results. Best Regards: Pierre
Question How do I get rid of blackheads painlessly? (submitted by alias: HomerN)
Answer Hi, firstly, I must apologize for answering your question this late. Well, some days I got to receive over a 100 emails, and occasionally I do missed replying a mail or two. However, I made it a point to review my mailbox for any unanswered mails when my email traffic is less. And that's how I discovered your email. OK. There's actually no need to squeeze out your blackheads. Squeezing is painful, and will cause permanent scarring. Everyone has blackheads, and blackheads is a continuous problem, especially when even cleansers that are made to supposedly remove debris were found to be depositing them and clogging the pores even more. Yes, this is a fact unfortunately. Most cosmetics manufacturers use standard formulations given them free by their chemical suppliers. Those free formulations were not tested on efficacies, because that's not the chemical supplier's business. You may find it hard to believe, but it's a hard and sad fact. You will believe and agree only after having used both other competitive products and our products. Most standard cleansers are simple emulsion formulae which contain a high wax content to provide an attractive cream body. Waxes seriously clogged the pores. So the first and foremost step to get rid of blackheads painlessly, is to stop using cleansers that not only do not rid the skin of debris, but even added them onto it!!! We have spent painstaking years in researching and developing unique formulations that are able to clean the skin gently by dissolving the clogged debris effectively. Our Wondergel is a hit in the world market now in the beauty industry, to rid blackheads painlessly. However, if your blackheads have been accumulated for too long, and are very deeply imbedded, then additional items from our line need to be used as well, to speed up positive results. The good news is that you can request a trial kit comprising 7 items, depending on your skin condition. Best Wishes. Regards: Pierre
Question The pores on my nose appear to be enlarged. Is there anything I can do about it? Also it looks like all of the pores on my nose have blackheads in them. I just started using Wondergel to try to remove the blackheads. (submitted by alias: Jim)
Answer Hi Jim, Enlarged pores, are by and large, like in your case too, caused by clogged pores. Clogged pores are in turn caused by debris, oil secretions, salt from sweat, environment dirt and dead cells accumulated over some time. As the glands are more active around the nose area and as the nose is also more protruding than other facial features, and more frequently touched and fiddled, it tends to attract more dirt, and thus more blackheads. The correct treatment method is to rid the pores of blackheads first. Wondergel does treat effectively by dissolving and softening the blackheads, but you should also stop using soap which will cause more hardening of the blackheads, making them more stubborn. Once the blackheads are cleared, the pores will temporarily appear to be more open, as they have lost their elasticities after being clogged for too long, and will close immediately. However, once the pores are clean, that's the proper time to use astringent products to tighten the pores up again. We have astringent products for this purpose too. Regards: Pierre
Question I have tried the Wondergel blackhead remover and I am very happy with the results. I would like to know if it is normal for blackheads to reappear every day. I have had to use the product every day in order to get the results I like. I only have blackheads on my nose. It is oily skin that will shine as the day goes on. The rest of my skin is very dry. The condition has improved since I stopped using Noxema and other bar soaps to clean my skin. Once I started using cream cleansers and heavy moisturizers, the skin looks much better. My only problem is the blackheads. Is there another formula or other products that I can use to improve the blackheads so that I do not have to use the gel every day? Also, I have to use the gel three times in one session in order to get all of the blackheads off my skin. Will this damage my skin? (submitted by alias: Alice)
Answer Hi Alice, Yes, it's normal for blackheads to reappear daily, but for those who use Wondergel and our line of products, they will reappear differently. Everyday, every moment, our skin has to self-lubricate and self-moisturized, as well as self-regulate the body temperature. This is achieved by the natural secretion of sebum (oil) through the hair pores and excretion of sweat (which also contains salt) through the sweat pores. Some of these substances will remain and harden themselves in the sebaceous (oil) ducts and sweat ducts daily as they become stale. As water content from sweat evaporates the solid remains are salt crystals which will clog the sweat pores. Some sweat will naturally mix with the secreted oil to form the natural acid mantle(the natural protective layer the skin needs). This acid mantle helps to bond together the shedded dead cells from the outermost layer of the epidermis, to form the skin's natural foundation( comprising oil, sweat water and the powderish dead cells). The salt content in the sweat will cause hardening of the sebum too. Environmental dirt and bacteria will add daily to this staled natural debris. If you do not have a real good and effective cleanser that removes these staled debris daily, the debris will accumulate daily and clog the pores. When hair pores are clogged for too long, you will end up having to manually squeeze them (now already formed into blackheads, and will eventually develop into pimples/acnes if not properly managed and timely removed), which is painful and will cause scarring. When sweat pores are clogged, the salt substance in the sweat ducts hardened and crystalized into whiteheads (or medically known as milia seeds), which cannot be squeezed out easily, unless pricked with a needle(sterylized). So, if the cleanser you are using is not effective in removing this daily staled debris, your skin will continue to clog, and become worse each passing day, and when touch it is coarse. Makeup wouldn't stay, and looks mouldy on your skin. Worse still, most creams (even cleansing creams are included!!!), day and night creams, from other manufacturers often contain high concentration of high viscosity wax. This only adds to the clogged pore problems. However, when one uses Wondergel Blackhead Remover, this problem is contained. The debris will have no chance to accumulate, as they are effectively removed daily. The debris will have no time to oxidize into blackheads. They will not be visible. They will have no chance to harden-up to clog the pores. So, when fresh oil and sweat are secreted and excreted daily, they will just push and flush out the old ones easily, and your skin is always covered and protected with a fresh protective acid mantle layer. Your skin will appear smoother, more supple, and makeup will stay, and no longer looks mouldy on the skin. When one stops using all other products, and switches to using only our Pierre Chenxu skincare line, apart from Wondergel Blackhead Remover, the improvement is even more drastic and amazing. Our products are truely non-comedogenic (will not add to pore clogging problems) and hypo-allergenic (will not sensitize skin easily). The skin will glow, and overall complexion will become much much smoother, more supple, silkier and radiant. Your friends will notice the transformation too. Regards: Pierre
Question I have many blackheads not just on my face, but all over my chest, and some even spread to my arms. Often enough they do not develop to the stage of blackheads, but there are oily 'thingos' in the pores which give a 'bumpy' appearance to my skin. How to I stop this overwhelming problem that has been with me for a few years now? I do wash at least daily!!! (submitted by alias: xsfer)
Answer Hi xsfer, you seem to have hyper gland activity. You need a good and effective cleanser and a range of other daily skincare products which are truely non-comedogenic (meaning do not contain ingredients that are prone to clogging pores). If you are prepared to take my advice, I suggest you stop using what you have now, and I'd recommend you a set of 4 to 5 items of our products. As for the other parts of your body, avoid high pH (i.e 5 above) body shampoos. They will harden your secretions and clog your pores even more. Use more acidic shampoos (pH 3.5 to 4.0). If you can't find them in the US, we have them. I'll send you samples too, if you want it. You will need also some good and effective body scrubs to soften those stubborn 'thingos' over time and rid them off eventually. Such scrubs must not cause any dehydration. They must contain oily ingredients with solvent properties. Unfortunately, we don't make these scrubs for the body yet. We have them for the face, and to use them on the body, though equally effective, may be too costly, unless you don't mind. If you want sample let me know. Meanwhile, have your body covered up and protected helps. Do not expose your bare body too much when you're out in the open. Avoid also dusty environment. Regards: Pierre
