FACE CARE HERBAL ACTIVE CLEANSERS FAQ

Q. People often say that oily skin conditions should not use cream cleansers. Is this true?

A. Yes and No. All cream and milk cleansers are emulsions that comprises Oil and Water-soluble ingredients. If the final formula is badly or poorly formulated, not only that it is unable to effectively remove daily/nightly stale debris, it even deposits heavy wax contents (commonly used in standard formulas provided free to skin care manufacturers by raw material suppliers) and clog the pores. Many cleansers are water-in-Oil emulsions which make it even worse - it's almost impossible to rinse off. In such scenarios, the more of such cleansers you use, the worse your skin becomes.

However, using soaps or soap-based cleansers won't do any good either. Soap is itself a very strong emulsifier. Most soaps, when mixed with water during cleansing, will harshly and instantly rob and emulsify away skin's moisture, & dehydrating it. Skin, being a living organ responds by activating the skin's sebaceous glands to multiply their oil production to compensate the loss. This renders the skin even more oily an hour or two later, yet the skin becomes coarser due to the poor bonding of the outer skin cells caused by the unbalanced acid mantle. Worst, most soaps from standard formulations have a pH range of 5 to 6. When mixed with water with neutral pH 7, the resultant pH is 6 to 6.5! Thus, subjecting your skin daily and nightly to pH6 - 6.5 does cause much harm, because the optimum pH for your skin is 4.5 to 5.4.

Every one of Dr. Pierre cleansers is specifically and uniquely formulated, by Dr. Pierre himself, to perform the best cleansing action & to render all the benefits your skin is entitled to. Your pores will NEVER be clogged, and your skin will only become more refined, cleaner, clearer, softer, silkier and more youthful & radiant each passing day! Even our
#327 Ginseng Facial Wash (pH3.5) is uniquely formulated with a pH3.5 to subject your skin to a resultant pH of only 5.25 [that is, (3.5+7)/2] every day & night. It is no wonder that Dr. Pierre has more than 95% of satisfied customers!
